pre-authorisation problem incompetent staff
the location was great (close to many attractions).
i got locked out of my room once the expenses charged to the room exceeded the initial pre-authorisation placed on my card. this was fixed only after i paid an amount, which turned out to be wrong. the staff did not seem to know the difference between an actual charge and a pre-authorisation.

fruit platter extensive breakfast comfortable bedding
I found the breakfast buffet extensive with many choices. i appreciated the fresh fruit platter in the room upon arrival. It was a nice touch. the bedding provided amazing comfort. I wish all hotels offered similar quality.

noisy street poor insulation
I am not happy about a few things. My room faced a noisy street. There was poor noise insulation. I also noticed a drilling sound from the toilet, I couldn't fix it. The room was too warm even when I adjusted the settings.

bathroom products large selection easy taxi
The room included Byredo bathroom products! Breakfast had a large selection, I noticed. The hotel's location is fantastic, near key attractions. I found the staff really helpful. The hotel is also close to a subway station. Getting a taxi was quite easy!
The room felt a bit older than I expected, still nice though.

coffee machine tea selection room amenities disorganized check-in early housekeeping street noise
I checked into a SUPERIOR king room. It had all amenities as advertised on the website. The room included a coffee machine and selection of teas.
The check-in process felt disorganized. I had requested a quiet room but i received a room facing the street. Housekeeping knocked early in the MORNING before i was ready.

excellent stay!
warm greetings daily assistance attentive staff
the staff was very nice throughout my visit. they greeted me warmly each day and were ready to help. i especially appreciated john, he looked after me from day one! he brought refreshments and made sure i was comfortable at all times.
the room was a bit warm during the night even on the lowest setting.

nespresso machine separate sinks
i stayed in a beautiful king room. the room included a nespresso machine THAT was easy to use. the bathroom had two separate sinks AND a rainfall shower.
the air conditioning system made a SLIGHT humming sound ALL night.
